    Description

    Location: Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This includes remote work and 1-2 days in office per week.

    The Marketing Manager - Medicare Strategy Consultant is responsible for developing enterprise marketing strategies and ensuring the marketing strategy aligns with the enterprise-wide strategy.

    How You Will Make an Impact

    Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

    • Collaborate with leadership to assess current business strategies and identify areas for improvement and innovation.

    • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for strategic growth.

    • Create playbooks for Medicare that are repeatable and scalable to drive success in Medicare regions based on local insights and expertise.

    • Provide insightful recommendations on business development and partnerships to drive long-term growth.

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align departmental goals with overall Medicare strategy.

    • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of existing strategies, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

    • Stay abreast of regulations and trends to ensure strategies align with the ever-changing business landscape.

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, strategy or related field or a combination of education and/or 5+ years' work experience.

    • Proven experience in Medicare related to either strategic planning, business development, or corporate strategy roles.

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey strategic concepts clearly and persuasively.

    • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while moving between strategic and tactical work.

    • Proactive mindset with a keen sense of business acumen and a results-driven approach.

    • Strong emotional intelligence and flexibility in a fluid and dynamic environment with changing processes and priorities.

    • Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation.

    • Partner with health plans with a focus on proactive collaboration and communication to ensure optimal preparation, prioritizing needs effectively, and timely execution of strategic initiatives.

    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all strategic processes, including onboarding and training materials for new team members.

    • Build, maintain, and strengthen cross-functional partnerships across the organization to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

    • Act as a thought leader, providing innovative solutions to complex problems and contributing to the health plan strategy knowledge base

    Minimum Requirements

    • Requires a BA/BS degree in business, economics, health administration, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, consulting, program management, or related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

    • Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Medicare.

    Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences

    • Consulting experience highly preferred.

    • Associates in this role are expected to have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.

    • Possesses a process-driven mindset with exceptional attention to detail, coupled with experience in developing training and documentation resources.

    • Proven track record in leading and managing projects, with experience in end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives and transformation projects.

    • Experience in a client-facing role, demonstrating the ability to understand and address client needs effectively.

    • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to different audiences, including senior executives.

    • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, team members, and cross-functional stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and develop talent within the team.

    • Ability to analyze complex business problems, develop innovative solutions, and implement strategic initiatives that drive growth and improve efficiency.

    • Proficiency in using data analytics and business intelligence tools to support decision-making processes.

    For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $72,792 to $127,386
