    This role is accountable for supporting the development, execution and continuous improvement of US P&BB initiatives. This role will be part of the Deposits team which is the growth engine of the US business.

    Strategic Planning and Development (20%):

    • Collaborate with Marketing leadership team, and marketing and LOB partners to develop strategic initiatives and plans, providing marketing consultation and recommendations to deliver against business goals

    • Lead development of initiatives and collaborate across Marketing and Product teams to execute

    • Support development of marketing strategies against high growth customer segments

    • Support development of marketing strategies to support existing and new customers and product offerings

    • Monitor performance of marketing initiatives to optimize in real-time and provide key learnings/recommendations to inform future plans.

    Relationship Management (20%):

    • Build partnerships and collaboration with business partners to understand key priorities, challenges

    • Facilitate the process of incorporating multiple stakeholder views in marketing planning and development

    • Work with Enterprise partners (e.g. Brand, Analytics, Martech, Wealth, Legal/Regulatory/Compliance, Personal & Commercial Banking Canada) leveraging change management skills to ensure they are informed and engaged

    • Leverage relationships to remain informed on strategies and tactics being developed and deployed elsewhere in the Enterprise

    Analytics and Reporting (20%)

    • Partner with marketing analytics and data analytics teams to set KPIs for marketing initiatives, track for optimization and report insights and recommendations to stakeholders

    • Develop business cases to support financial metrics for marketing programs and track actual results to plan

    • Ongoing budget management and tracking

    Project Management (40%):

    • Lead project management of strategic initiatives to ensure flawless execution

    • Develop assignment briefs for all marketing initiatives requiring involvement from any Corporate Marketing partners.

    • Strategic business & financial modeling against opportunities to inform decision making and enable discussions amongst key stakeholders

    • Effectively manage resources, timelines and budgets to meet/exceed plan

    • Set and track KPIs to measure effectiveness of marketing strategies and tactics

    • Establish and build strong relationships with external 3rd party strategic partners (i.e. agencies) to ensure integration with BMO policies/systems as required to execute projects with excellence

    Education & Experience:

    • 5+ years of marketing experience across transition and digital channels

    • Demonstrated experience working in matrix organizations, collaboratively working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute strategic initiatives with proven business results

    • Experience with consumer insights, marketing planning and channels (Media, Advertising, Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, Social Media would be assets)

    • Experience with developing presentations with clear narratives to support strategic recommendations and action plans


    • Demonstrated analytic skills in strategic and quantitative analysis, particularly using data analytics to identify insights, draw conclusions and make recommendations

    • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage projects and work plans; establish objectives, deadlines, and processes, and facilitate the coordination, integration and implementation of marketing initiatives across the channels

    • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and solve problems creatively and independently

    • Excellent relationship management skills including strong ability to influence people at all levels of an organization

    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with an emphasis on presentation development skills

    • Ability to work independently, and collaboratively with teams that have diverse skills, knowledge, and backgrounds

    • Results-oriented, driven and self-motivated with a commitment to excellence

    • Computer skills including Excel and Powerpoint
