KRYSTEXXA (pegloticase) is an infused medication for the treatment of severe, treatment-refractory, chronic gout for patients who have failed other gout treatments. The KRYSTEXXA Nephrology Marketing Team focuses on educating nephrologists on the importance of appropriately treating gout in their CKD patients and the benefits of KRYSTEXXA for patients whose gout cannot be controlled by urate lowering therapies. The Marketing Senior Manager will be key member of the brand team in a role that straddles for HCP Promotional Marketing and Medical Marketing to increase breadth and depth of prescribing among nephrologists and develop gout and KRYSTEXXA advocates among nephrologists. This role will impart cross-functional leadership, strong teamwork and communication skills, a passion for patients, and a commitment to excellence.

    • Lead the execution of key strategies within the professional and medical marketing team to impact nephrologists, APPs, nurses and support staff

    • Play a key role in the implementation of the brand plan for marketing of KRYSTEXXA for the treatment of uncontrolled gout to nephrologists.

    • Work with leadership and cross functional colleagues including market research to identify customer insights and develop effective branded and unbranded messaging which increases penetration of KRYSTEXXA among nephrologists.

    • Develop HCP branded and unbranded promotional tactics to increase breadth and depth of prescribing KRYSTEXXA among nephrologists.

    • Work with Material Approval & Compliance (MAC) to ensure that all marketing materials meet brand & regulatory guidelines.

    • Identify and develop key opinion leaders in the area of gout within the nephrology community

    • Implement core medical marketing tactics including development of speaker programs and advisory boards

    • Effectively and consistently execute multiple, simultaneous projects and manage agency resources to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and meet business needs.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

    • Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

    • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

    • Associates Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

    • High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong technical marketing competencies to include marketplace/consumer analysis, insight generation, physician segmentation, brand positioning, KOL development, and medical marketing.

    • Adept in leading and influencing cross-functional teams

    • Strong communication effectiveness; ability to engage, connect, and influence senior management and the sales and marketing organizations as well as thought leaders

    • Ability to translate and communicate complex information/strategies into simple and impactful plans

    The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $152,128.00 - $179,472.00. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
