Description
We are looking for a competent Medi-Cal Billing Manager to join our team. As a Medi-Cal Billing Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations and supervising the billing staff in the revenue cycle department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all billing operations comply with the regulations of the California Medicaid program, Medi-Cal.
This position will start in office and switch to a hybrid remote schedule.
Manage and oversee the daily operations of Medi-Cal billing and coding
Sign on new Medi-Cal providers
-Assist with signing on labor and delivery services including doula services
Ensure billing compliance with state and federal regulations related to Medi-Cal
Keep abreast with current changes in Medi-Cal regulations, trends, and procedures and train the staff accordingly
Monitor the effectiveness of billing operations and implement changes as necessary
Coordinate audit procedures to ensure accurate and timely billing services
Handle customer inquiries regarding billing and resolve any issues
Prepare and present reports on the department's performance to the senior management
Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing procedures
Recruit, train, and mentor billing staff, fostering a well-functioning and supportive team environment
