Medical Director - Springfield, Ohio

VCA Northwood Animal Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to join our well-established multi-doctor general practice alongside a passionate team to practice medicine your way in beautiful Springfield, Ohio!

We are a full-service hospital and have proudly been servicing the area for more than 30 years. This well-equipped facility boasts a spacious lobby, extensive treatment area, digital radiography (including dental), 6 exam rooms, a large surgery suite, as well as boarding and grooming. VCA Northwood Animal Hospital is a busy practice that offers our clients outstanding service and medical care. These services include wellness, early disease detection, dentistry, elective and routine surgeries, digital radiography, in-house bloodwork and advanced surgical procedures such as GDV, splenectomies, GI foreign body, C-section, CCL repair, etc.

Our office hours are Monday-Friday 7am-7pm and Saturday 8 am-12pm. Our Boarding facility hours are 7 days per week with scheduled pick up times on the weekends. A general work schedule is a 4 day work week with rotating Saturdays. GP doctors have one surgery/dental day per week.

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL:

• Spacious building which is 11 years young

• Computers in all 6 exam rooms as well as throughout the facility

• Surgical Suite with latest patient monitoring and warming equipment

• Separate surgical recovery area, kennel area and quarantine area

• Sound digital radiography, digital dental radiography and tonometry

• IV pumps, in house laboratory, blood pressure monitor

• Ultrasound

• Our management and support team members are like family! Our goal is to provide compassionate service and quality medicine

• We are located within a reasonable commute to the cities: 40-45 minutes west of Columbus, OH and 30-40 minutes northeast of Dayton, Ohio
