    Summary:

    Oversees executive level correspondence for the CEO of The MetroHealth System. Organizes, writes, and tracks thank-you letters, congratulatory notes, responses to invitations and other correspondence. Researches, prioritizes, and follows-up on multiple correspondence issues and concerns, including those of a sensitive and/or confidential nature. Carries out various special projects as assigned. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

    Qualifications

    Required

    Bachelor's Degree plus two years relevant experience or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Experience in an increasingly responsible executive, administrative, or correspondence assistant capacity or in a position requiring the performance of a high level of administrative duties. Experience working with lawmakers, stakeholders, and community partners. Demonstrated experience with professional writing and correspondence with a focus on business and outreach activities. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, research, and evaluation skills. Business acumen to quickly assess and respond to matters of varying urgency and importance. Working knowledge of Cuyahoga County issues, communities and agencies and of state government. High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point). Ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse environment, handle multiple priorities, and assist in fast-breaking situations with patience, a sense of humor and teamwork. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Ability to perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects.

    Preferred

    Master's Degree Previous experience supporting a senior executive. Project management skills.

    Physical Demands

    May need to move around intermittently during the day. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
