    Position Summary

    The National Account Manager for Dollar General at Sanofi collaborates closely with the Sanofi Dollar Team to achieve long-term and short-term goals with this rapidly growing retailer.

    This role is remote-based in the U.S. and reports to the Director of Dollar General.

    Key responsibilities include fostering team collaboration, maintaining strong customer relationships, and implementing national sales initiatives.

    The manager will engage extensively with Dollar General, making strategic decisions on new items, trade management, promotional planning, and planogram positioning.

    Additionally, staying informed about the competitive landscape and promptly reporting insights to management is crucial.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Effectively manage broker relationships for the Dollar Channel business, including line reviews, joint planning, and promotional strategies.

    • Increase sales volume and brand equity for assigned brands while meeting sales quotas through distribution, merchandising, and promotions.

    • Forge strategic partnerships with Dollar customers by aligning Sanofi CHC with their initiatives.

    • Identify opportunities for distribution expansion and incremental sales growth.

    • Develop and execute promotional programs to drive revenue and expand brand presence among Dollar Channel shoppers.

    • Foster internal cross-functional partnerships and share best practices.

    • Adhere to company policies, report on competitive products, and maintain safe work practices.

    • Generate weekly sales and expense reports, and provide requested special reports on market conditions.

    • Ensure safety in the workplace and during customer visits or business-related travel.

    • This role may entail additional tasks related to business goals as needed.

    About You

    Education

    • BA/BS from an accredited college with a focus in business preferred.

    Experience

    • 3+ years proven sales experience in a related position within the consumer products goods industry with direct account responsibility.

    • Previous experience selling to and managing the Dollar Channel is preferred.

    Professional Skills

    • 3+ years' experience utilizing Nielsen or IRI syndicated data; excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to analyze and evaluate several sources of data to develop actionable insights.

    Role Specific Competencies

    • This position requires extensive use of computer equipment. Must have a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft business software to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

    • Familiarity with Nielsen or IRI programs is preferred.

    • This position requires the ability to travel and have overnight stays

    • Special Requirements: 20% travel required.

    The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $150,000. In addition to sales incentive (role may my eligible for long term incentive depending on level and performance); all compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
