    Job Description:

    Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Network Engineering Operations Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to support our global biometrics solutions for federal partners to enhance national security.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Work closely with the program manager and lead network engineer to ensure smooth operations of the network engineering team, to include a 24/7 helpdesk.

    • Supervise and continually enhance operations of the helpdesk.

    • Create tracking processes for helpdesk issues and implement a reporting mechanism so the engineering team can resolve new and reoccurring issues.

    • Collect and analyze metrics from the helpdesk and overall system performance.

    • Evaluate system performance and make recommendations to the engineering team on ways to improve.

    • Coordinate with the country project manager to resolve identified problems.

    • Create and maintain a weekly operational overview document.

    • Establish and maintain the processes and procedures needed to provide "real time" support for deployed teams.

    What Required Skills You'll Bring:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and 12+ years of diversified and applicable experience is required, with at least 5 years of supervisory/management.

    • Experience with managing complex day to day operations.

    • Experience defining and tracking metrics to analyze performance.

    • Ability to create polished Excel, Word, and PowerPoint documents.

    • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph

    • Experience developing workflow processes.

    • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and technique appropriate to the audience.

    • Extensive analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organization skills.

    Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph
