New Product Development Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a New Product Development Manager to join one of our largest industrial clients. This individual will be responsible for the sourcing and procurement of commodities with a focus on new product development. They will identify and negotiate contracts with new suppliers and collaborate with Engineering teams to truly own the commodity's space. This individual must be an excellent communicator and have strong mechanical aptitude. This is an full-time onsite position based out of Rogers, Anoka, or Dayton, MN.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of commodity sourcing and project management experience

• Ability to identify new part suppliers and negotiate contract terms

• Previous new product development experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, etc.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with Engineering teams

• Must work 5 days onsite in Rogers, Anoka, or Dayton, MN - Project Management certifications

• Previous experience with Teamcenter or other PLM platforms

• Strong mechanical aptitude null
