    This position will be managing day-to-day NextGen ERP implementation of contract and vendor management activities through the life of the NextGen project. The Contractor Program Management - Senior Manager must communicate effectively across diverse levels within and outside the organization, supervise vendor service level agreements, and keep key stakeholders advised.

    • Responsible for the management and oversight of vendor contracts including performance monitoring.

    • Lead day-to-day vendor relationships and requests.

    • Monitor vendor service level agreements and ensure contractual performance.

    • Set the sourcing plan and deliverables in accordance with SCE's policies, procedures, and guidelines.

    • Will provide overall coordination leadership, and mentorship to PMO and program stakeholders regarding their respective vendor result requirements, approvals, and processes.

    • Leading development, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of contracts, including metrics supervising in a highly fluid environment.

    • Develop good communication patterns with vendors to increase compatibility.

    • Participate in meetings and strategic discussions with Principal Managers and Director with occasional interaction with VP and SVP

    • Prepare executive level presentations in support of management communications.

    • Presenting effectively in a matrix organization while ensuring timely delivery of inputs, validation of data, assumptions, and reporting.

    • Lead all aspects of resolution of disputes and/or claims pertaining to contract language.

    • Seek out innovative solutions to complex issues in a sophisticated cross-functional, multiple vendor landscape.

    The essentials

    • 5 or more years of demonstrated ability supervising a team or direct reports and/or project management.

    • 5 or more years of proven track record in contract and vendor management or an equivalent combination of education, training, and technical experience

    The preferred

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

    • Proficient in SAP, Ariba, and Microsoft tools.

    • Experience in contract management and deciphering contract terms and conditions.

    • Experience establishing department objectives and work plans as well as staffing and resource needs.

    • Ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop and implement business plans, manage risks, and lead information.

    • Shown change agent and ambitious problem solver.

    • Ability to empower self and others to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.

    • Experience developing and engaging in discussions with a variety of audiences and levels across the Company, including effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.

    • This position's work mode is? hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.?Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.
