  • Role Summary:

    Baker Hughes, a GE company is currently hiring an OFS (Oilfield Services) HR Partner based in Clarksburg, WV; will also consider candidates located in the Regional Pennsylvania area.

    In this position, you will primarily act as an employee advocate and partner to our people leaders on all issues related to human resources. You should be a proactive communicator and change agent, someone who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Provide dedicated support andguidance to People Leaders and employees on HR fundamentals including:talent development, performance management, talent section, rewards,employee relations issues, etc.

    • Serve as an extension toassigned client leadership team(s) to provide input and guidance regardinginitiatives from an HR perspective

    • Provide coaching, advice, andguidance on matters such as policies, employment law, employee relations,organizational design, performance issues, leadership, managementpractices, etc.

    • Conduct HR training and supportfor functional processes like Performance Development (PD), TalentReviews, Salary Planning and New Employee Orientation, etc.

    • Partner with Centers ofExcellence to facilitate transactional HR processes to ensure success incore functional areas (staffing and recruiting, HR operations, OTDinitiatives, etc.).

    • Manage employee relationsissues and ensure concerns are properly identified, reported &resolved

    • Assure compliance with allapplicable local laws and corporate policies/guidelines, and identifyopportunities to develop and implement new practices/guidelines to achievebusiness goals.

    • HR policy/training- Ensureconsistent application and integration of policies, procedures andpractices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant workenvironment

    • Analyze and interpret data asrequired to support HR strategy (organization fitness design metrics) incore functional areas (retention, span and layers compliance, diversity,etc.)


    • Bachelor's Degree in a humanresources discipline or business from an accredited college or universityand/or equivalent experience.

    • Minimum 3 to 5 years ofrelevant Human Resources experience

    • Legal authorization to work inthe US is required

    • Must be willing to travel, asrequired (20%)

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degreein Human Resources or similar business field

    • Excellent organizational andinterpersonal skills combined with strong drive to create a positive workenvironment

    • High level of business acumen

    • Demonstrated success in amatrixed organizational structure

    • Internal and external customerservice focus experience

    • Excellent analytical, verbaland written communication skills

    • Familiarity with HRIS andfacilitation of transactional HR activities

    • Solid PC skills, includingMicrosoft Word, Excel and Power Point skills

    • Experience in change management
