Overall Job Summary

Tractor Supply Co. is seeking a proactive Omni Channel Summer Intern to join our team for a 12-week paid internship in the Nashville/Brentwood, TN area. This internship presents a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Omni Channel operations and contribute to the success of our multi-channel retail strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

• Omni Channel Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of Omni Channel strategies to enhance the customer experience and drive sales across channels (in-store, online, mobile, etc.).

• Order Fulfillment: Support the coordination of order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer orders.

• Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory across various channels, optimizing stock levels, and minimizing out-of-stock situations.

• Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the Omni Channel team to develop and execute customer engagement initiatives, including loyalty programs and personalized marketing efforts.

• Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights into customer behavior, sales trends, and inventory performance.

• E-commerce Support: Work closely with the e-commerce team to enhance the online shopping experience, troubleshoot customer issues, and improve website functionality.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, merchandising, and IT, to support Omni Channel initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Business, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

• Enthusiasm for Omni Channel operations and the retail industry.

• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Detail-oriented approach to work

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Access and Excel.
