Seeking an Operations Manager who is ready to utilize their skillset to work with a Global leading Environmental testing company in Fort Wayne, IN!

Schedule : 1 st shift M-F

Pay : $85k-$95k DOE

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Type : Direct hire

Responsibilities:

• Key Member and contributor to laboratory leadership team and other supervisors

• Ensures that safety and quality standards are being met

• Responsible for leading a team of 20-40 employees

• Responsible for overseeing, facilitating and monitoring Laboratory operations.

• Responsible for overseeing and managing budgets and inventory in correspondence with company goals.

• Responsible for hiring, performance evaluations, approving PTO requests/timecards based on departments

• Responsible for the location safety performance and awareness; spearheads and manages initiatives that drive a culture of safety first.

• Demonstrates deep knowledge of capabilities, processes, and expertise to be able to clearly explain the benefits of testing services to all audiences -- internal and external.

• Consult on various ways of testing requested by the client and provide

• Works effectively with lab functional managers and supervisors.

• Manage the supply chain and logistical processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree

• 5 - 10 years of Environmental Experience including Organic, Inorganic, and Metals background.

• Minimum 3-5 years of Operations and Leadership experience within Environmental testing facility

• EPA testing Methods
