As a Parts Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our parts department. You will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring timely procurement, and implementing efficient processes to meet the demands of our business. The successful candidate will lead a team of dedicated professionals and collaborate with various departments to enhance overall operational efficiency.

salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

Supervises personnel in the parts, shipping, and receiving departments.

• Manages the replacement parts ordering process.

• Ensures optimal inventory levels of high-demand and critical spares.

• Cultivates consistent communication with remote team members.

• Assess the strengths and weaknesses of direct reports, addressing weaknesses through coaching and training.

• Travels as needed to California and occasionally to Italy.

• Sets up parts re-order points and minimum stock levels.

• Keeps track of department metrics for management analysis.

• Cultivates and sustains customer relations.

• Collaborates with the accounting team for the processing of invoices and purchase orders.
