    Job Description Summary:

    The People Operations Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management, and providing guidance to employees and managers on all HR-related procedures and policies. The position serves as a consultant to management and Senior Leadership on human resource-related issues, operational processes, and Rocket policies. The People Operations Partner acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR operations needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR Business Partners, broader People department and business management, the People Operations Partner seeks to develop integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

    Job Overview:

    The People Operations Partner role, reporting to the Manager, People Operations, encompasses guidance to employees and managers in all HR-related procedures with focus on process improvement, compliance, and operational excellence. The role provides substantive support in execution and delivery of the full range of HR Operational and transactional matters to Rocket Software's employees, managers and HR colleagues. The role will lead and manage key assigned HR operations projects to enhance compliance, improve employee experience, and help leaders and managers leverage Rocket's HR resources more efficiently.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

    • Manages employee relations?strategy, policy and practice for large business functions and/or teams

    • Supports HR Business Partners in resolving complex employee relations issues; Coaches supervisors and line managers to enable personal growth/insight

    • Develops a deep understanding of business and local?legal requirements. Ensures compliance with all local, federal, and state compliance requirements, for example FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEO, etc.

    • Manages employee lifecycle events in conjunction with HR partners and processes necessary transactions in Workday, from onboarding, job changes, and offboarding

    • Responsible for ensuring all annual compliance reporting requirements are met, including EEO-1, CA Pay Data, VEVRAA, AAP, etc.

    • Works closely with outside immigration counsel to lead and administrate Rocket US Immigration programs, acting as the employee first point of contact for all things visa sponsorship (H-1B, L-1, F-1, etc.), green card sponsorship, & global mobility between US and foreign Rocket offices. Acts as key support person and liaison for employee immigration process, filings, and employee questions.

    • Develops?and implements approach to?identify potential risks and?associated mitigation measures through business acumen, regular audits, and overall process improvements

    • Represents with works?councils and local labor?authorities, as applicable

    • Acts as HR "Account?Manager" - drawing?together key resources and?expertise across HR to?execute business plans and?people operations strategy

    • Leads planning and?implementation of?smaller?HR projects, change?management efforts and?corporate initiatives into the?business. Participate in complex HR-related projects as a project team member or leader. This includes, but is not limited to, software implementation, roundtables, process design. May lead project of more broad scope and complexity as needed and at direction of Manager, People Operations

    • Acts as a sounding board to?senior leaders and their?teams

    • Conducts strategic analysis?and supports execution of?strategic plans related to all aspects of People Operations

    • Leverages data and insights?from multiple sources?(internal/external) to support?the business strategy -?impacting continuous?improvement, scalability for?growth, culture reinforcement?and sustainable employee?engagement

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years in People Operations, Human Resources, or related work experience

    • 3+ years of HR Business Partner experience in a fast-changing culture

    • Business Management or MBA preferred

    • Ability to demonstrate solid expertise related to HR administration including a solid understanding of best practice, policies and procedures, ideally in a global setting

    • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization

    • Ability to influence managers and senior level leaders within the organization on significant HR matters

    • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through

    • Strong knowledge of employment practices; ability to stay up to date on new and changing legislation and company policies

    • Solid organizational development skills

    • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience of working with HCM systems (Workday experience a plus)

    • M&A & US immigration experience a plus

    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related field

    Travel Requirements:

    <5% Minimal, infrequent travel

    The base salary range for this role is $76,286.00 - $95,358.00 /year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
