    Planning Manager (Supply Chain)

    About the Role

    Manage and lead facility 2 HCC2 Supply Chain Planning, including Material Requirements, Inventory Management, Demand & Orders management and Production Planning, and in general the supply chain performance. Ensures linkage between process planning and execution.

    Responsibilities

    • Direct Reports include Production Planning Manager and Material Requirements Manager

    • Provide leadership and direction to HCC2 supply chain.

    • Ensures that the supply chain manage supply chain processes aligned with the CPS Supply Chain Process Manual and adherence to the CPS Supply Chain Rules. Supply chain span of control includes supply chain processes, planning, material requirements, inventory management, demand, and orders management.

    • As a member of the Business Unit Leadership Team, provide input to business unit goals and strategy development.

    • Secure alignment on processes and execution according to Standards.

    • Secure constant and clear communication with NPI/NSI teams, securing a smooth transition.

    • Manage department resources, providing focus, motivation, and encouragement to direct reports.

    • Responsible for all personnel issues and performance evaluation.

    Inventory Management - MFG

    • Ensures that the inventory is at an appropriate level and meets both internal and external requirements.

    • Devises standard inventory management benchmarks to improve the processes.

    • Provides guidance on inventory management for a specific product group or location.

    • Applies systems and processes to identify and coordinate inventory requirements; resolves conflicts.

    • Coordinates daily work of inventory management for different locations within a facility or a supply network.

    • Reviews reports used for inventory management to find out related problems.

    Logistics Management

    Level Extensive Experience

    • Manages logistics processes through process improvement, prioritization, and project planning.

    • Implements and maintains monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.

    • Develops and analyzes logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.

    • Works with historical, legislative and practical issues associated with domestic freight.

    • Participates in contract negotiations and interfaces with selected carriers necessary to maintain expected levels of service.

    • Consults on all major logistics processes, their interactions and operational requirements.

    Supplier Management - MFG

    Level Extensive Experience

    • Facilitates supplier partnering arrangements that share risk and reward.

    • Monitors supplier performance; works to resolve discrepancies between performance and agreements.

    • Develops quality standards and controls for suppliers.

    • Builds and maintains partnerships with multiple and/or large suppliers.

    • Evaluates issues and terminates supplier relationships as appropriate; works with legal departments.

    • Ensures the fulfillment of report and record-keeping requirements.

    Supply Chain Management - MFG

    Level Extensive Experience

    • Manages supply chain finance activities and measurements of effectiveness.

    • Advises others on capacity issues at various points in the supply chain.

    • Monitors the complete supply chain management process.

    • Consults on supply chain network design projects or processes.

    • Quantifies and evaluates benefits and risks of various supply chain strategies and approaches.

    • Participates in joint planning, process design/redesign with clients and partners.

    What is Required

    • University degree

    • Advanced English

    • Supply chain or related experience.

    • SAP Experience

    • Experience on Planning of multiple manufacturing machine centers.

    • Strong experience in cross functional collaboration

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to establish and monitor policies and guidelines.

    • Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures

    • Knowledge of product development processes

    Top Candidates

    • APICS CPIM or CSCP National Certification preferred.

    • Knowledge and experience with 6 Sigma preferred.

    • Master's degree in engineering, Logistics or Business Administration or the sciences preferred

    • Experience in inventory management and control, global purchasing, parts distribution and/or logistics is highly desired.
