    The Trust and Safety team is dedicated to supporting the company's growing base of users and partners around the globe. As a Trust and Safety Policy Development Lead, you will switch between developing global policies for YouTube content and driving cross-functional projects impacting the global ecosystem. The Policy team covers a wide variety of topics, and this role will contribute across multiple areas and will sometimes involve reviewing graphic, controversial, or offensive video content in line with YouTube's Community Guidelines.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     • Develop, maintain, and update global policies in various areas of online content.

    • Influence cross-functional stakeholders and company executives regarding proposed content policy efforts.

    • Lead research and trainings for developing new policies and understanding emerging risks across the globe. Work with global teams to ensure operationalization of global policies.

    • Build partnerships with partners across cross-functional groups including public policy, PR, legal, product, engineering, and sales.
