    Role Summary/Purpose: The Distributed Asset Condition Monitoring (DACM) & Analytics Product Manager leads Alstom's DACM product line. Position is responsible for the completeness of the product in terms of features, functionality, price, and quality.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    Product Line Leadership

    • Responsibility for the overall profitability and long-term viability of the DACM product line.

    • Leading the planning and prioritization of product features in cooperation with Commercial Marketing, Sales organizations, and Engineering

    • Creating and maintaining the Product Marketing Plan

    • Creating and maintaining the Product development business case and revenue projections

    • Creating and maintaining product roadmaps

    • Collecting, analyzing and specifying customer needs and requirements

    • Developing the product concept proposals for new development programs and releases

    • Producing the appropriate content for demos, manuals, marketing material, etc.

    • Creating and maintaining product support and sustaining engineering plans

    • Cross functional coordination between engineering, operations, project, and service teams

    • Agile/Scrum experience and technical knowledge in software development methodologies

    • Evaluation and prioritization of functions based on market assessment and customer feedback

    Sales Support

    • Providing consultation & support for internal and external key-customers (solution proposals, feasibility studies, lockout specs, tender responses, etc.)

    • Supporting tradeshows and demonstration presentations

    • Providing internal product training

    • Competitiveness

    • Continuously seeking ways to optimize the benefits and cost of the product offerings

    • Analyzing competitive offerings and available technologies in the Big Data and Analytics field

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.

    • 5+ years' experience in product marketing, product development, or related field.

    • Prior Product Line Management experience with data acquisition / SCADA / Communications hardware and software products and services.

    • Experience creating and monetizing a SaaS business model for analytics and data acquisition.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Presentation skills for internal and external audiences

    • Proactive, enthusiastic attitude toward challenging problems

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Minimum 3 years commercial and/or technical experience with Rail / Transportation applications

    • Demonstrated aptitude for a leadership and product line ownership role in a highly dynamic cross-functional environment

    • Masters of Business Administration or equivalent

    • Excellent oral and written communications skills

    • Working knowledge of Big Data and analytics strategies
