  • Job Description Summary

    Responsible for leading Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development activities associated with the QMS integration of a GE HealthCare acquisition including qualification and transition of existing suppliers for continued use under the GEHC QMS by leading quality plan implementation, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. As the QMS integration continues and completes, this position is responsible for supporting the business in NPI programs, transfer programs, and quality improvement projects including supplier selection, qualification, development, and monitoring activities. This position works closely with Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Integration Leadership, Manufacturing Operations, Product Management, and Engineering to deliver quality products to our customers with a total cost mindset, and to complete successful Purchasing Controls Integration of the GEHC acquisition.

    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Accountable for the identification, prioritization, and planning of Supplier Quality activities and tasks to support business objectives and key initiatives associated with a GE HealthCare Acquisition.

    • Responsible for execution of QMS/compliance requirements associated with Supplier Management. This includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key supplier toward industrial standards of excellence.

    • Support improvement in digital supplier management through development, standardization, and simplification of software specific processes. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.

    • Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.

    • This role operates with some autonomy, but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment, but may require more senior levels of guidance.

    • Uses some judgement and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problem. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other technical discipline from an accredited university or college and at least 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, or Engineering or an Associate's degree and 10 years of experience in the same.

    • Excellent leadership skills demonstrating cross-functional teamwork and strong influencing and communication skills

    • Drives continuous improvement across functional & global boundaries, including demonstrated ability for effective problem solving and root-cause analytical skills.

    • Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time

    Desired Characteristics

    • Experience in Supplier Quality and/or Supplier Capability activities

    • Experience in Software as a Medical Device and associated standards and regulations

    • Demonstrated ability to lead courageously, maintaining a strong position amidst opposition to resolve important issues, and ability to navigate a large complex business.

    • Proven leadership in driving results and process improvements, including strong Change Acceleration Process skills and ability to make risk based decisions compliantly.

    For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $93,840.00-$140,760.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
