Project Component Business Development Director Purpose of the job: + She/He will identify and drive new business opportunities and strategy for rolling stock components + She/He will lead Component Project Management team to drive project / program execution, to maximize the results with respect to cash and margin while delivering on time, in conformity with the contract. Respect and improve the SQCD of all projects + Constantly seek and propose to the Customer Director / Platform additional opportunities in the frame of the contract / Program Charter; ensures Alstom Transport legal and contractual rights are protected Key accountabilities: + EHS: Accountable for the proper implementation of the Alstom policy and Customer / Platform requirements by all stakeholders (internal & external) including suppliers and contractors. + Plan and manage the complete execution of his/her scope from transfer to close out, in line with Contract / Program Charter requirements. + Lead a Project Team, including Core Team and when applicable Project Managers of internal (PU's) and external partners - in line with the project structure. + Perform project management and contract administration according to Alstom Project Management Manual (PMM), including proactive risk and opportunity management, and in full compliance with E&C rules. + Ensure completion of Project / Program Performance goals to meet business objectives and customer /Platform satisfaction. + Responsible and accountable for the Project Profit and Loss; For Programs: Respect the budgets and SQCD objectives defined during PAB. + Ensure optimal quality of project/program execution and reviews. + Ensure that critical aspects are identified in reviews and proactively / professionally addressed and followed up. + Manage the situation of the project / program and its KPIs, and report to senior management, with transparency during the business/sector project reviews or PRB, + Make sure that key project stakeholders are aligned towards project/program goals. + Represent Alstom towards Customers and when applicable external stakeholders (consultants, partners, ect.) + Responsible to ensure full compliance with Code of Ethics + Respect of tender submittal date - drive win rate + Manage bids budgets and ensure they are respected - Participate in Global Demand Management and Workload Management processes - Ensure that Alstom Bid Processes are followed - Be the local relay of Solution Directors + Business Development activities (i.e. customer meetings, solution promotion, ...) - Lead the bid team for the Bid Strategy definition Performance measurements: For projects: Sales GM adjusted and GM Cash-in Respect of budgets defined at PAB DFQ Performance Project OTD Respect of Program Charter Customer Satisfaction For Business Development: EHS when applicable Tender hit rate Tender Risk level Tender Budget cost TGR (Tender Gate Review) on time No Gross Margin degradation and no additional gaps at SPR0 Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Master in Business Administration Experience + Good knowledge of Project management processes + Good knowledge of railway products and systems + ALSTOM way of working for efficient process execution + Experience of working in and with multi-national companies and in different business cultures + Recognized project management qualification + Fluent English Competencies & Skills + Conflict management and interpersonal skills + Team spirit approach and good communication skills + Abilities to obtain collaboration and "pull together" all parties involved in the project (especially in case of complex PIO/PDO + Leadership, entrepreneurship mindset and decision minded An agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
