    Purpose of the Job

    • At Regional Center/Portfolio level, manage a team of project managers to ensure the projects are managed from transfer from tenders up to contract closure and respecting the QCD commitment and the EHS target

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver the Portfolio Platform budget sales, margin (gross) and cash through correct execution of the projects

    • Manage a portfolio of projects allocated to Regional Center/Business Unit, by delegation from Platforms, ensuring that projects are delivered by Project Managers according to their QCD commitment

    • Manage priorities between projects within Regional Center in line with Platforms directives / strategies

    • Manage allocation of Project Manager (PM) resources within Regional Center projects

    • Manage and develop Project Managers in line with Platforms strategy and Transport PMO/TIS/ADM Projects Performance strategies. Pro-actively encourage cross-pollination with other Regional Centers

    • Maintain the Project Manager assessment updated with new experiences; coach, mentor and improve the level of the project managers on the team through continual feedback and coaching.

    • Be accountable for implementation of the process / tools / methods concerning Project Management and defined by TIS Projects Performance / Transport PMO

    • Be accountable & responsible for implementation of Monthly Project Review (MPR) processes as per rules defined in Monthly Project Review (MPR) instructions

    • Represent Platforms, by delegation, in specific topics

    • Define, review and adjust the commercial strategies of the projects with Project Managers and Customer Directors, periodically

    • Anticipate project staffing during tender process, also ensuring the PMO inputs into the tender are consistent, competitive, and based on historical project documentation

    • Actively engaged in customer management including support for PM's in writing contract letters, claims construction and management

    Performance Measurement

    Project dashboard management:

    • Projects QCDS (Quality Cost Delivery Safety) and EHS KPIs

    • Gross margin (GM), Sales and Cash AND INVENTORY (Hard / Soft)

    • On Time Delivery (OTD) as defined by Central PMO, as well as other monitor and control metrics such as Adherence to Plan, Earned Value/Physical progress

    • Design for Quality Review Cycle (DFQ) GR (Gate Review) GO ON TIME and (GR) Gate Review ON TIME

    • Progress of Project Management Training as defined by PMO / TIS Projects Performance

    • Adherence to Project Management process

    Required Experience/Education:

    • Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years of related experience

    • Related experience is to include subcontractor and customer interface, leading multi-functional teams, and/or previous management experience

    • Strong negotiation skills

    • Experience in project control techniques
