    Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a motivated and dedicated Project Manager - Engineering Operations, Processes and Tools to join our Puget Sound Engineering Operations team in Kent, WA.

    Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including, Associate and Experienced Project Manager - Engineering Operations, Processes and Tools.

    The successful candidate will concurrently manage varying projects with multiple stakeholders. Will establish project plans, track completions, and report status to leadership of multiple stakeholder organizations. Primary focus will be on facility improvement projects.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Support preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards

    • Participate in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans

    • Assist more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case

    • Develop, collect, organize and provide data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance

    • Coordinate document work statements and resulting schedules

    • Identify and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team

    • Communicate plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship . An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • 1+ years of Project Management experience

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher

    • Experience with facilities projects

    • Experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other project management tools

    • Experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

    • In pursuit of Project Management Professional PMP® certification

    • Familiar with Project Management Institute's PMI® Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK)

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

    Experienced (Level 3) : Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

    Relocation:

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range for associate level (Level 2): $73,950 - $100,050. Summary pay range experienced level (Level 3): $93,500 - $126,500
