The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of facility build and construction projects from inception through completion. This includes coordinating with external contractors, subcontractors and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required specifications and standards.
Develop detailed project plans defining scope, goals, deliverables and resource requirements for facility build initiatives
Manage team of engineers to support lab and automation room and manufacturing lines.
Select and manage contracts with architects, engineers, general contractors and other key vendors required for projects
Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to identify and resolve any issues that arise in a timely manner
Manage project documentation and maintain meticulous records throughout build process
Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and keep them updated on project status
Control project costs by negotiating with vendors, tracking expenses against budget and approving invoices
Report on project KPIs such as timeline, costs and quality metrics
Bachelors degree in engineering or related
2-5 years experience within project management for CAPEX
Experience managing large manufacturing upgrades and teams of engineers
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
PMP Certificate Preferred
experience with room automated equipment installs
