Project Manager

POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager to join the Power Delivery department in our St. Louis, MO office. This position will manage various types of Transmission and Distribution projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the project planning process including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out

• Manage project implementation including project schedule, project budget, and the project resources including external vendors and contractors

• Serve as the primary project authority for assigned project personnel on major project-related issues

• Direct project team and lead the project management process

• Responsible for metrics tracking, associated reporting to stakeholders, and compliance with regulatory, corporate, and department procedures during all the phases of the project

Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree and industry-related experience from an accredited university required - engineering, engineering management, or construction management discipline preferred

• Experience five (5) + years of professional experience in the construction, and/or electric power and communications industry

• Five (5) + years relevant project management experience

• Relevant experience includes large-scale project management, and/or project lead engineering experience on large/complex projects

• Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools

• Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting

Desired Education/Experience

• A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

• Five (5)+ years of project management experience

• Experience in project management controls area
