Project Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for one of our clients in Stamford, CT. This person will be joining the billing PMO team, which is a team of four people. This person will be working with the design and development team as well and ensuring the business analysts are soliciting the correct requirements. They will be responsible for managing multiple projects at one time. An example of a project that this person may be assigned to is an automation project to build solutions for reporting. There may be an instance where customers are assigned to a code that is expiring and that code will need to be removed from those customers. A day could start by checking e-mails, calendars and project plans, seeing what tasks are due or overdue, prioritizing those tasks and following up, analyzing stalled projects and working to move those along, analyzing risks and mitigating those risks, working through change requests and ensuring all projects are making progress. The usual project timeline is anywhere from three weeks to a couple months to launch. Each person on the team is assigned 8-10 projects at a time depending on the complexity. This person should have a self-starter mentality and be able to work in the office 5 days a week in Stamford.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager

Experience managing multiple projects at a time, end-to-end

Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task

Self-starter mentality Telecommunications or billing background null
