Property and Material Supervisor

Job Overview:

APTIM is hiring a Property and Material Supervisor to perform Installation Support Services for the United States Army Garrison Redstone (USAG-R) Department of Public Works (DPW) with our partner AKIMA. The Property and Material Supervisor will manage seven (7) distributed warehouses that support Facility Maintenance, to include the only HAZMAT 90-day storage warehouse, while overseeing 12 employees at Redstone Arsenal. The warehouse operation also conducts recycling center operations for the installation. This position will need to be technically proficient on various computer systems and Maintenance Connection experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Setting day-to-day operational objectives for team.

• Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.

• Property Management, Shipping & Receiving, Warehousing, Materials Handling, Inventory Control, and Records Management.

• Establishing reorder points based on historical usage, current usage, and availability.

• Disposal of dormant stock.

• Handling and maintaining flow of materials and products according to established guidelines.

• Logging the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products.

• Works on assignments that are advanced in nature requiring some originality and problem-solving.

• Hazardous Material Labeling, Tracking, and Reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years experience in Property Management Supervision.

• Valid State Driver's License

• Meet requirements for: pre-employment physical, drug screening, background check, and MVR check (MVR points are subject to company policy)

• Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
