    Kelly Engineering is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Manager for our manufacturing client in Hebron, KY. As a Quality Control Manager, you will lead our quality assurance efforts and drive excellence and continuous improvement throughout our organization.

    Key Responsibilities and Priorities:

    • Develop and Sustain Quality Management System: Lead the development and maintenance of our Quality Management System in accordance with industry standards. Implement strategies to regulate, control, and enhance the quality of all processes and final products.

    • Team Leadership and Coaching: Direct and support the quality team, providing one-on-one coaching for continuous improvement.

    • Quality Assurance Management: Oversee the Quality Assurance department and staff, managing in-process inspections, receiving inspection, documentation, part qualification, testing, and calibration.

    • Continuous Improvement: Participate in daily Gemba walks to align with Kaizen continuous improvement processes, fostering a culture of quality throughout the company.

    • Customer Complaint Management: Investigate and address customer complaints regarding quality, leading root cause analysis and driving corrective actions.

    • Supplier Quality Management: Ensure supplier quality by identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities within supplier manufacturing and quality systems. Manage non-conformances caused by suppliers and coordinate corrective actions.

    • New Product Quality Control: Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and suppliers to establish product quality control requirements for new products.

    • Performance Measurement: Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance internally and externally.

    • Business Initiative Support: Support key business initiatives such as housekeeping audits, 5S audits, and VPP.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

    • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment

    • Detailed understanding of Quality Management Systems with audit experience

    • Continuous improvement skills

    • Experience in customer and supplier relations for quality issue resolution

    • Proficiency with Excel and ERP programs

    • Ability to read and interpret prints, routers, bills of material, and other part documentation

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Analytical and problem-solving ability

    • Ability to facilitate change

    • ISO experience preferred

    • People management skills
