    Job Title : Regional Sustainability Manager

    Client Location: Memphis, TN

    Work from home/On-site : Onsite

    Compensation : $80,000 - $100,000 + bonus

    Position Objective: To advance the organization's dedication to sustainability through strategic planning, coordination, and management of sustainability endeavors within the region.

    Sustainability Management

    • Supervise and enhance the organization's sustainability programs and enhancement strategies.

    • Formulate pivotal objectives and targets to drive environmental and sustainable engineering solutions across multiple manufacturing sites within the region.

    • Identify and cultivate projects aimed at both cost savings and sustainability enhancements, as well as those meeting specific client-driven sustainability objectives.

    • Collaborate with the ESG committee to devise initiatives supporting the company's sustainability vision.

    • Monitor and track the progress of sustainability projects, regional goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting regular reviews with leadership.

    • Spearhead the development of sustainability initiatives that foster teamwork, communication, and collaboration.

    • Advocate and disseminate sustainability concepts to cultivate a culture of sustainability and inform business decisions.

    • Cultivate and manage relationships with sustainability-related stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, to advance shared objectives.

    • Collaborate with the Business Development team on sales pursuits and client engagement.

    • Contribute as a subject matter expert (SME) to sustainability-focused meetings on new projects.

    • Participate in external events and organizations to promote community engagement, learning, program expansion, and business development aligned with the company's sustainability vision.

    • Assist in preparing capital expenditure (capex) demands by providing cost details.

    • Evaluate projects post-implementation to ensure adherence to capex specifications.

    • Aid in soliciting bid proposals, consulting with suppliers, and reviewing quotations.

    • Source materials and equipment, prepare purchase orders, and support procurement processes.

    • Assist in negotiating contract terms and recommend contract awards.

    Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on sustainability management.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability management.

    • 3 years of experience in sustainable engineering, maintenance, or process roles within manufacturing plants.
