    The Program Coordinator plans, coordinates, and oversees theday to day operation of the assigned program or project. The ProgramCoordinator works within various healthcare settings and rehabilitation centers. The ProgramCoordinator is responsible for maintaining budgets and records pertaining tothe program expenditures, implementing policies and procedures, and organizingthe activities for the program.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assists with planning and the coordination of the programand its activities

    • Implements and monitors program policies and practices

    • Keeps the program on schedule and functioning smoothly whilestaying within the planned budget

    • Supports the growth and development of the program

    • Coordinates communication within the program

    • Manages staff work assignments, workloads and work schedules

    • Oversees the budget to include tracking billing, paymentsand other financial transactions

    • Coordinates interactions and builds positive relationshipsbetween staff, clients, administrators and program stakeholders

    • Schedules and organizes program-related meetings and events

    • Oversees the use of technology for program operations, suchas video conferencing technology, presentation software and othercommunications technologies

    • Creates and maintains program records, reports, andpresentations

    • Manages marketing and communications, if applicable

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthservices administration, or another related field preferred

    • Advanced CSAC certificate

    • Looking for licensed social worker/mental health counselor or registered nurse

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Program Coordinator orexperience in an administrative/managerial/supervisory role in mental health/substance abuse

    • Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

    • Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency programwhen applicable

    • Current CPR if applicable

    • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    • Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

    • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    • Successful completion of new hire training as applicable tojob site

    • Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAArequirements

    • Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to andfrom appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors,co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in theEnglish language is required

    • Computer proficiency required

    • Must be at least 18 years of age
