Our focus is on mitigating attack risks, securing cloud transformation, and fostering a culture of security and reliability within our team The Global Tech Audit Engagement team assists Walmart's tech divisions throughout the IT Audit process, including planning, preparation, execution, and remediation of findings. Our objective is to ensure efficient and prompt resolution of identified issues and to strategically promote comprehensive risk mitigation across the all tech segments.

    The team's primary responsibilities include collaborating with Control owners to offer guidance on audit expectations, drafting documentation, and facilitating swift, thorough responses to audit inquiries. Moreover, they manage and drive remediation efforts through effective project coordination with all stakeholders, ensuring timely and efficient implementation of corrective actions. Their expertise and dedication to maintaining a strong IT control environment play a crucial role in the organization's overall compliance and risk management.

    The Risk Expert III will specialize in overseeing and driving audit finding and overall risk remediation efforts, ensuring timely and effective resolution of identified issues. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and corrective action plans, while continuously driving / monitoring progress and reporting on the status of remediation efforts.

    What you'll do:

    • This role will be responsible for creating comprehensive project plans to address audit findings, which includes ensuring broad understanding of the risk being remediated, defining objectives, timelines, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.

    • They collaborate with various cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that the remediation efforts are executed effectively and according to the plan, while ensuring that the outcome effectively remediates the defined risk.

    • A successful candidate in this role will continuously track the progress of remediation efforts, measure performance against established goals, and ensure that corrective actions are taken when necessary to keep the deliverable on track and within budget.

    • They will provide regular updates on the status of the remediation projects to senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting any issues or risks that may impact the project's success and recommending appropriate solutions.

    What you'll bring:

    • A successful candidate should be skilled in organizing resources, setting priorities, and creating detailed project plans that account for potential risks and contingencies. This includes the ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and keep track of tasks and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

    • Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks associated with technology use and implementation. They should be able to assess complex situations, gather relevant data, and draw logical conclusions to provide actionable recommendations.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey their findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They must be able to present complex information in a clear, concise, and easily understandable manner to facilitate decision-making and risk mitigation.

    • The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, learn new skills, and embrace new technologies is essential for staying ahead in a constantly evolving industry. A successful candidate should be open to change and able to pivot quickly when necessary.

    • Managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously is a key aspect of this role. A successful candidate must be able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of organization.

    Minimum Qualifications...
