    As the Risk Manager, you will be responsible for providing support across all functional areas on the IRS program.

    The Risk Manager directly reports to the Program Manager and will oversee the organization's comprehensive safety, security, and operational management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the organization. Additionally, the Risk Manager is responsible for investigating, tracking, and reporting Events of Interest (EOI) to include Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) safety related incidents.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsibilities/Duties

    • Design and implement an overall risk management program for the organization to include the safety, security, operations, and any relevant impacts to the program should risk occur.

    • Risk management program must acknowledge and adhere to site risk policies when necessary.

    • Perform an ongoing risk assessment, analyzing the current risks and identifying potential risks that affect the program's service delivery.

    • Risk assessments include collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, and other relevant data and information.

    • Perform an ongoing risk evaluation, evaluating the company's previous handling of risks, and comparing potential risks with criteria set out by the program.

    • Conduct contract related Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) investigations from initiation to close out.

    • Conduct policy and compliance audits which include liaising with the PMO staff, project leads, COR team and external auditors.

    • Build risk awareness amongst managers and team members by providing support and training within the program.

    • Provide risk reporting and contractual metrics to the relevant audience.

    • Recommend and implement risk management solutions based on contract deliverables and assessments of policies and protocols.

    • Recommendations and implementations include modifications, improvements, new proposals, and business continuity plans to limit risk.

    • Ensure compliance with all site's environmental health and safety requirements.

    • Any other reasonable duties as requested.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associate degree or, equivalent training and background in Quality inspection. Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience.

    • Staff Like Moderate Access

    • Field: Quality Assurance, Analytics, or program-related field

    • Desirable

    • At least one year of quality or risk management experience including adherence to ISO9000

    TICKETS AND LICENCES

    • Minimum Essential

    • Drivers License

    • Desirable

    • Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) or equivalent

    • EXPERIENCE - Minimum Essential

    • 5 years - in a similar role performing safety, security, operational related task and relaying information to management, peers, and team members.

    • WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS

    • The position requires the ability to travel to potentially 15 site locations throughout CONUS, occasionally for extended periods depending on situational needs
