  • Rady Children's Hospital Specialty Clinics is seeking a dedicated RN to partner with our allergy providers, nurse educators and management to oversee immunotherapy clinics in our Escondido & Encinitas satellite locations.

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Care Coordinator, in collaboration with specialty medical providers, performs case management and direct patient care to assigned patients. This includes point of care procedures, ongoing patient, family and staff education and coordination with outside community agencies. The Coordinator facilitates effective functionality of clinic operations, actively participates in Quality Management and acts as a provider extender within their scope of practice. The Care Coordinator performs additional team functions as required to maintain effective customer service.

    Responsibilities include:

    1. Managing all aspects of immunotherapy treatment

    2. Working closely with allergy providers to determine best treatment plan

    3. Patient Education

    4. Ordering Patient Serums/Antigens

    5. Administering Immunotherapy Injections

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Associate's Degree

    Area of Study in a Field Related to the Position

    Two years of experience

    California RN License

    BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

    Ped Adv Life Support Prov

    Bilingual - Spanish

    Position Details:

    Full-Time; M-F

    No weekends or holidays

    Home office: Escondido location with travel to Encinitas location on Tuesday's

    The current salary range for this position is $51.94 to $89.38

    A candidate's placement in the range will be determined based on the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
