    Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator. In the role of RN Clinical Coordinator you will:

    • Actively support department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit including shift charge, department and/or service line.

    • Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards.

    • Act as liaison between physicians and patient care team. Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments. Supervise the staff; authorize work procedures and assign duties.

    • Provides input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring and performance management of associates.

    • Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.

    • Personally, accountable for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

    Qualifications

    In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

    Schedule NIghts 6pm-630am

    • 1-year clinical RN Experience

    • 1 year of leadership experince preferred

    • Associates Degree in Nursing required

    • BSN, preferred

    • RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required

    • BLS American Heart Required

    • NIHSS required within 6 months of hire or internal Transfer

    • Nursing Specialty Certification related to the specialty is strongly preferred

    Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

    The 4 South Medical Surgical department at St. Anthony North Hospital, an achieved Magnet® Hospital, is 30-bed unit which treats cardiac, neuro and med-surg patients. This includes a variety of diagnoses, including CHF, COPD, Chest Pain, MI, GI bleeds, post-catheterization, TIA, TR bands, and stroke. We receive overflow from anywhere in the hospital if they have a cardiac or neuro issue, provided they meet unit criteria. Our mission is to provide excellent patient-centered care with teamwork and compassion. Our department appeals to anyone interested in furthering their skillset, specifically in the realms of cardiac or neurological patients and who wishes to be part of an amazing group of talented nurses who are genuinely passionate about the care of our patients. Our unit wishes to attract someone who can operate safely in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and who is always willing to lend a hand.

    Pay Range

    $32.36 - $61.19 / hour
