    About this Unit:

    Do you have a special curiosity about orthopedic surgical procedures? If so, then the 4th Floor Ortho Spine unit may be an excellent fit for you! This 26 bed adult medical/surgical unit focuses on patients with an orthopedic diagnosis, specifically with patients facing total joint replacement and spinal surgery. Employees on this unit love the healthy work environment for staff and providers. The Ortho Spine unit is a team oriented, highly effective, and dedicated workforce.

    This position is 40 hours per two weeks on the night shifts (11p-7:30a), 8 hour shifts with every other weekend. We offer generous benefits including medical, dental, time off and more. Check out the benefit link here: ~~~

    Responsibilities Job Description

    The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • MN RN License

    • BLS for Health Care Provider

    Preferred Qualifications

    • BSN

    • Recent within one year med/surg RN experience.
