  • Deloitte Servicesis adding to its team of experienced top-performing Life Sciences IndustrySector sales professionals that focus on finding and growing net-new MedicalDevice, Diagnostics, Medical Therapeutics (MedTech) consulting clients andopportunities. This is anexecutive-level sales role that supports the MedTech Practice Leadership andthe Life Science Industry National Sales Director. The role demands a highly experiencedhunter-entrepreneur, with a deep understanding of today s life sciences /healthcare industry issues specifically in the area of MedTech. The MedTech Sales Executive must understandthe heart of the business issues and their strategic implications to potential clients.They then need to be able to provide sales expertise and leadership to Deloittepursuit teams in client proposals

    Candidates will beexpected to have MedTech Industry experience and relationships and have demonstrateda net-new client development track-record of achievement. There will be an emphasis on large, strategicallytransformative, technology-led programs in one or more of the MedTech IndustryValue Chain areas including: R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain / ManufacturingOperations, Commercial, HR transformation or Finance. Technology solutions in areas like Analytics,RPA, Master Data, Digital Transformation, Compliance and Cyber security areinherent to the major business and offering capability areas.

    The Team

    The Life Science Sales team supports Deloitte s businesses with salesexpertise and leadership in uncovering, developing, and closing salesopportunities. Working hand-in-hand with Partners, Principals and ManagingDirectors, these sales executives focus their highly skilled efforts insecuring relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncoveropportunities, develop effective sales strategies, manage the pursuit processand act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process.

    What you will do :

    The LifeSciences Industry Sector Sales Executive (SE) is an individual contributorhunter-entrepreneur, responsible for securing new clients or white space inportfolio clients and driving incremental consulting revenue for services and solutionsat the direction of the Partners, Principals and Directors on the MedTechIndustry Leadership team. Specificresponsibilities include:

    Participate in business planning, providestrategic business insight, sales operations support and leadership to MedTechPractice in managing the practice pipeline and determining where to invest

    • Develop strategic and tactical plans to meet or exceed sales objectives

    • Collaborate with Deloitte Practice leadership to formulate and drive various go-to-market priority sales campaigns that create demand and generate incremental pipeline

    • Partner with key Ecosystem and Alliance partners to increase their engagement and impact in MedTech sales

    • Lead other complex selling efforts that identify, qualify, cultivate and close new business from a targeted list of MedTech prospects.

    • Understand the competitive landscape and how to differentiate the Firm s offerings

    • Identify and influence key decision-makers at all levels within the client organization

    • Play a key role alongside pursuit leaders to: help frame Deloitte s differentiated value story; develop strategic win themes for proposals; and provide coaching and other professional sales support for client facing presentations.

    • Represent Deloitte by spending time in the field, and at conferences/policy forums.

    • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data working with Sales Operations team
