  • This position manages a broad team of professionals who are responsible for content development, coordination, and completion of RFPs and RFIs initiated by our end user hospital customers, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) and local, provincial and federal governments. The proposals are used by our customers to make critical purchasing decisions on all capital equipment, services and supplies.

    Your role:

    • Maintaining and implementing best practices in proposal management taking into account tailored needs by business and their independent strategies and marketing plans

    • Staying abreast of all organizational changes, market dynamics and changes in customer buying behaviors in order to accurately and effectively position Philips in every sales deal requiring a proposal.

    • Driving effective and accurate tracking of proposal win/loss data, buying trends and volume trends as part of key metrics reported monthly to senior executives

    • Ensuring team maintains knowledge expertise across all product & service lines and markets

    • Developing the proposal mgt. team such that it is able to deliver a proposal that includes (besides all the templated responses to the customer's questions) a clear and differentiating sales story, developed in cooperation with the sales team, pricing, finance.

    You're the right fit if:

    • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant work experience

    • 5+ years of equivalent experience in proposal development and team management.

    • Ability to drive a tailored experience for the customer through the response to their proposal requests.

    • Must be capable of developing a team that can adapt our proposal approach to the changes in our market place, channels, sales structures and customer buying behaviors.

    • Keen understanding of the healthcare industry and internal and end user customers.

    • Must have ability to drive and manage change to maximize sales deal wins that are tied to proposals and contribute to direct revenue generation for Philips Healthcare.

    • Knowledge of downstream product or service marketing functions.

    • Knowledge of sales cycles and methodologies.

    • APMP Accreditation or PMP certification a plus.

    The pay range for this position is $123,000 to $158,000. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. ?

    In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
