SAP EAM Manager

Job Description

A natural gas and utilities company is seeking a SAP EAM/PM Manager to provide high-level technical support and direction for all aspects of the SAP PM/SM & PS modules, the Hitachi Service Suite solution and Itron FCS system as they relate to business processes development. This position is responsible for the full lifecycle of business and change programs for all system landscapes; which includes gathering requirements, technical research, backend and frontend development, quality assurance, deployment, maintenance and support for all components of the system landscapes as well as integration with non-SAP applications. This role will heavily be involved in projects ranging from M&A activities, system upgrades/enhancements and field operation initiatives. This role will be 75-85% technical and project management focused and 15-25% people/resource management. This role will work on a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week) in Downtown Houston with the option to work a 9/80 schedule. The role may also require travel depending on business needs.

Skills and Requirements

15-20 years of experience with SAP Plant Maintenance/EAM with recent people management experience

Ability to configure and design technical solutions within SAP PM/EAM as this role will be a hands-on management position

Experience leading/architecting greenfield implementation(s) of SAP Plant Maintenance/EAM

Experience working with external vendors (ideally within the Service Suite or SAP space).

Proficient financial acumen to manage/forecast monthly and annual business and project budgets

Familiarity with Agile methodology SAP PM certification(s)

Utility industry experience

Experience with mergers & divestures

Project management experience null
