    Koniag Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Creative Director with a Secret Clearance to support KTS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. This is a Hybrid opportunity.

    The successful candidate will provide substantive support to the Program Management Office (PMO) of the DISA J9 Hosting and Compute (Hac) and Joint Warfighter Cloud Capability (JWCC) to assist by providing senior creative director/visual designer support to develop a cohesive design direction for the client that represents our brand, our guiding principles, our culture of high-quality work and captures the ethos of the team. The work shall encompass Implementation of the developed design standards to create visual design for the web, social media, presentations on other design assets as required.

    Provide visual communications (storytelling) using animated platforms, graphic design, infographic content, and video content is required on websites and social media platforms. The purpose of visual storytelling is to meet the client's communication goals by telling the client's story of our unique and highly creative brand. This will result in maximum delivery of the client mission objectives to multiple media environments and enhance the client's brand effectiveness.

    Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

    • Creating, standardizing, and management of client's entire ecosystem of branding efforts.

    • Provide standard design assets, brand guides, and creative design direction (i.e. logos, nomenclature) in formats prescribed by the client.

    • Develop and implement social media applications, identifying and examining data to develop ways to enhance users' experience, and maintaining an organization's mobile applications.

    • Create Graphics in support of Strategic Communications campaigns or to support HaC/JWCC executive briefings to senior Defense officials, members of Congress/Congressional Staffers, and foreign dignitaries.

    • Interact with and ensure organizational strategic messaging is nested with DoD via social media outlets.

    • Support organizational overall goals to ensure timely and effective marketing.

    • Supports Public Affairs and Strategic Communication.

    • Interaction with public/industry and universities to ensure content, design, and marketing methods meet organizational messaging intent.

    • Informs strategic messaging goals and provides analysis of effectiveness to appropriately adjust media campaign and engagement plan.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

    • Extensive experience in branding, marketing, communication, and strong working knowledge of graphic design

    • Create graphics in support of Strategic Communications campaigns or to support HaC/JWCC executive briefings to senior Defense officials and DoD/IC community stakeholders.

    • Knowledge of various web design platforms (including the U.S. Web Design System) are required to support the overall design direction of HaC/JWCC.

    • Develop and implement social media applications, identifying and examining data to develop ways to enhance users' experience, and maintaining an organization's mobile applications.

    • Develop applications or programs and monitor throughout the maintenance, testing, and implementation phases.

    • Ability to add and manage media content, such as videos and social media channels.

    • Ability to interact with and ensure organizational strategic messaging is nested with DoD via social media outlets.

    • Ability to support organizational overall goals to ensure timely and effective marketing.

    • Supports Public Affairs and Strategic Communication.

    • Interaction with public/industry and universities to ensure content, design, and marketing methods meet organizational messaging intent.

    • Informs strategic messaging goals and provides analysis of effectiveness to appropriately adjust media campaign and engagement plan.

    • Secret but able to obtain Top Secret

    Working Environment & Conditions

    Work performed in an office environment. Involves frequent contact with staff and customers.

    This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

    The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
