As a pivotal part of their global Finance organization, the Expense team oversees the company's corporate credit card program and expense reporting function, providing top-notch support to our employees while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. We are seeking a resourceful and goal-oriented Senior Expense Operations Manager to lead the Expense function for the North American region, driving process improvements, managing escalations, and spearheading cross-functional projects.     Responsibilities

    • Serve as a subject matter expert on the company's Expense policies and processes.

    • Perform detailed Expense research, account reconciliations, and provide guidance to business partners.

    • Resolve inquiries promptly and communicate updates clearly to stakeholders.

    • Oversee the outsourced team, ensuring adherence to SLAs, managing escalations, and providing coaching.

    • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives related to Expense management in the AMER region.

    • Ensure SOX compliance and recommend improvements to policies, internal controls, and systems.

    • Propose and implement best practices to standardize and scale processes.

    • Collaborate with key cross-functional teams including Accounts Payable, Business Technology, Sourcing, Procurement, and Legal.

    Requirements

    Skills/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, or Accounting.

    • 5-7 years of experience in Expense or related finance operations role, preferably in a global company.

    • Proficiency in major Expense reporting systems, e.g., Concur.

    • Strong understanding of end-to-end expense report process and corporate credit card program management.

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of management.

    • Experience in managing outsourced service teams is advantageous.

    • Ability to identify and drive process improvements.

    Preferred Skills

    • Front-facing system implementation experience.

    • Experience in corporate credit card services.

    • Ability to analyze processes and suggest improvements.

    • Proactive and resourceful with a focus on regional ownership and evolution.
