    Brief Job Overview

    This position is responsible for the management of complex IT and business-related projects involving senior executive and cross-functional stakeholder communications, engagement, and management; the development and implementation of business processes in technologies to meet identified business needs; acquiring; and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality. This role involves the adoption and adaptation of project management methodologies based on the context of the project and selecting appropriately from predictive (plan[1]driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.

    This position is hybrid and requires 60% onsite per month

    • Individuals in this role must have experience in facilitating open communication and discussion between senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining, and working to stakeholder engagement strategies, desired project outcomes, and business value.

    • Individuals in this role must possess the leadership proficiency in managing large complex IT and business-related projects and a high level of business acumen; understanding the business need for each project and the ability to make decisions based on what is best for the organization.

    Senior IT Project Manager

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

    • Minimum of eight (8) years of project management experience with demonstrated outcomes delivery across different types of high-value IT and business projects or equivalent experience of which five (5) years should be hands on project management in an IT environment managing a variety of complex projects.

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

    • Demonstrates leadership and experience in senior executive stakeholder engagement and management, overseeing project planning, organizing, and execution, and managing a cross functional project team.

    • Communicates effectively and facilitates collaborates both formally and informally with senior executives and between multiple cross-functional stakeholder groups who have diverse objectives.

    • Analyzes project requirements, advises on scope, solution options, solution designs, project plans to execute, and evaluates work to time, cost, schedule, and quality targets.

    • Demonstrates creativity, innovation, and ethical thinking in applying solutions for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder.

    • Advises on the available project management standards, methods, tools, and applications relevant to make appropriate choices and decisions from several alternatives.

    • Experience in capturing and disseminating technical and business information.

    • Possess the ability to perform project reviews; assessing project health and identifying problems as well as noteworthy areas; and if asked, confidently turn a troubled project around.

    • Proven ability to manage vendors, subcontractors from RFP stage through evaluation, selection, contracting, and execution of work plans.

    • Demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple projects within agreed to scope, schedule and budget.

    Lead IT Project Manager

    • Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or relevant field or equivalent work experience.

    • Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in IT management, relevant business area, consulting, as a business relationship manager, business analyst, project manager, or program manager.

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

    • Demonstrates experience in managing large, complex, IT and business-related projects and portfolio management.

    • Demonstrates experience in navigating within an organization's political landscape including communicating and collaborating effectively with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders and international stakeholders who have diverse and competing objectives. Possess exceptional interpersonal skills, communication skills, facilitation skills, and the ability to assess and manage complex, competing, and demanding client expectations.

    • Advanced understanding of the IT project lifecycle as well as various project methodologies, and the ability to select the appropriate methodology for a particular project.

    • Must possess a high degree of comfort and demonstrated experience managing varying levels of ambiguity. Demonstrated ability to make continuous improvement a priority and ability to collect qualitative and quantitative data to help drive process improvement.

    • Experience mentoring less experienced staff and serve as a mentor to colleagues.

    Additional Desired Preferences

    • Experience in ensuring that project leads and/or service owners adhere to the agreed portfolio management approach and timetable and that they provide the appropriate information to agreed targets of timelines and accuracy.

    • Experience in producing reports as appropriate for portfolio governance, including making recommendations for changes to the portfolio.
