    About the role : The Senior Manager, Bid Management is a full lifecycle pursuit role that builds exceptional customer value propositions into our sales lifecycle, capture plans, and proposals for the Government Health Solutions business. You will be the hub for a matrixed team of dynamic business development, account management, financial, legal, technology and proposal professionals.

    Responsibilities

    • Accountable for structuring Professional Services and SaaS opportunities with State Government entities

    • Developing strategic and tactical sales approaches that drive successful business opportunity outcomes, capture plans, and high-quality proposals.

    • Guides deals through internal costing, legal, risk assessment and mitigation efforts, and presenting these opportunities for approval.

    • Manages development of winning proposals comprised of innovative, profitable agreements that meet client's needs and differentiates Conduent in the market.

    • Manages and prioritizes multi-year, dynamic pipeline for resources and strategic alignmen.t

    • Exercises leadership in roles of advocate and challenger

    • Engages, guides, and coordinates bid team members.

    • Demonstrates ability to effectively develop and execute well-designed bid management project plans using established tools and process and pivoting to creative approaches when needed.

    • Applies effective financial acumen and risk analysis.

    • Guides the development of cost elements with justification.

    • Leads multiple pursuits, including hands-on development of critical bid artifacts required for proposal development, ensuring the integrity of win strategy through submission.

    • Adheres to and contributes to the Capture and Proposal Plans

    • Supports Orals presentation process including solution validation, collateral and talking point development, and performance coaching.

    • Effectively presents to all levels of management including deal reviews to senior leadership.

    • Represents "One Conduent" by influencing actions and decisions that positively impact revenue, delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction.

    Requirements

    • Have several years in progressively responsible roles in business development, capture, and proposal development.

    • Have several years managing teams or as the lead for complex projects.

    • Demonstrates high level of knowledge of Government market, Healthcare Services, and SaaS

    • Have proven ability to structure and gain strategy approval for opportunities ranging $20M to 250M+ Experience working with federal, state and local government business development associates.

    • Understands technical solutions, including SaaS and Fixed Fee Services

    • Have ability to translate technical aspects of a solution into business decisions.

    • Be proactive with ability to anticipate issues, challenges and objections.

    • Demonstrates self-confidence in working with executives and leading teams.

    • Effectively communicate opportunity and proposal elements to internal stakeholders and client evaluators

    • Have influential communications, both written and oral.

    • Have proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

    • Possess a minimum Bachelor's degree preferred.

    Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $106,000 to $138,000.
