    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    DISH Wireless seeks a Senior Manager for its Wireless Transport Sourcing Team, comprised of 5-7 exceptional individuals. Responsible for sourcing DISH's optical transport network and data center connectivity, crucial for the Dish 5G network. Manage 75 MSAs and 35 MCAs totaling $2.5B+ in contracts, with a focus on expanding coverage into rural and international areas. Lead the future of Dish's Transport network, prioritizing innovation and data-driven decision-making. Join us in revolutionizing the wireless industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    In this role, you will:

    • Hire, develop, and manage a team of Transport Sourcing Managers

    • Develop and lead the sourcing, contract management, negotiation and supplier management strategies and practices of the team

    • Manage all aspects of transport "Request for Proposals", RFPs, to achieve a best techno-commercial solution for DISH

    • Establish and manage Objectives and Key Results(OKR) of the organization to ensure cost and quality control and effective executive reporting

    • Assess the risk of potential and current vendors and develop risk mitigation strategies and business continuity plans

    • Analyze industry trends to proactively identify risk and opportunities that can be exploited to benefit Dish

    • Other duties as assigned

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    As a successful Senior Manager of Transport Sourcing, you will have:

    Education and Experience:

    • BS or MS in Engineering, Business, Finance, Legal or technical degree; or equivalent combination of wireless transport experience and education

    • 8+ years of experience managing in a wireless/transport environment

    • 5+ years of managing and negotiating transport RFPs

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Excellent negotiation skills and proven track record of decision-making ability

    • Technical understanding of transport networks

    • Deep understanding of tools and software used in building and presenting financial models and project management

    • Deep understanding of OSP and ISP construction practices and standards

    • The ability to work fully on-site in Littleton, CO during core business hours

    Salary Ranges

    Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $208,725.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
