    Job Description

    OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

    The Sr. Procurement Experience Agent is responsible for supporting of all Takeda's day-to-day Procurement activities, supporting all super users in scope with in-depth Source-to-Pay knowledge; both as walk-through assistance as well as executing tasks on behalf of the users with a focus on outstanding people experience.

    As members of the TBS Procurement Solutions team, they are responsible for:

    • Supporting users' decisions related to operational supplier management and ensuring compliance to internal processes and policies. This includes but is not limited to identifying existing preferred suppliers, right buying channels and guiding users to use them

    • Supporting supplier selection in alignment with the requirements received from the business.

    • Delivering the end-to-end Procurement process in a compliant, effective and efficient way, with a focus on cycle time and improved user experience

    • Ensuring the right solutions are put in place to enhance people experience, aiming at making users feel supported throughout their Procurement experience.

    • Supporting process improvements, for example by means of flagging issues, concerns and opportunities from the supported countries and BUs and partnering with the Continuous Improvement workstreams

    • Coordinating with the Contract Operations Team where applicable and ensuring all relevant enablements will be activated in time and in parallel to the contract management process

    • Supervising or actively supporting execution of non-contract related PR/POs on behalf of the users, depending on volumes and providing guidance on processes.

    • Acting as additional support for proactive issues resolution, liaising with all other relevant TBS towers and Procurement Solutions teams, and as an additional escalation point for Procurement agents

    Regional - United States and Canada

    ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Support supplier selection, TPRM and supplier on-boarding

    • Ensure all information related to new and existing suppliers are provided on time and made available in the relevant systems

    • Liaise with other TBS towers and GREFP and keep up-to-date with all relevant process updates or changes

    • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and manage risks upfront, to help customers feel confident and supported

    • Build collaborative relationships based on trust and respect, staying involved until the customers understand the proposed solutions

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant deadlines and time constraints; open to an environment where things change constantly.

    • Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and be agents of change

    • Help with Procurement Agents onboarding and supervision, coordinate response and action plans and ensuring consistency and adherence to the model

    Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

    • Strong focus on metrics, trends and data and an ability to use it to effectively manage the end to end vendor onboarding process

    • Significant experience in use of ERP systems, SAP Ariba and in-depth knowledge of the underlying processes

    • Understand and enforce processes and polices related to supplier enablement and operational vendor management

    EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

    • Knowledge of SAP Ariba, MDG, LINC and internal procedures

    • Ability to set clear and realistic expectations and proactively provide updates on the way

    • Customer-focused and people oriented with high attention to details and committed to creating strong partnerships

    • Be holistic in providing responses, looking at the whole picture of the request and offering sustainable solutions

    • Be able to listen carefully to customers and be open to consult with them for process changes

    • Comprehensive understanding of all TBS Procurement roles and interdependencies or fast learning

    • Ability to work under pressure

    • Ability to supervise and coordinate activities and actions of other (non-Senior) Procurement Agents

    • Experience in solutions-oriented or regulated industries would be a plus

    • Fluent in English and business level fluency in the region's primary operating language

    • Knowledgeable in systems and processes for efficient management of vendor creation and deactivation processes

    • Strong data-centric mindset, showing ability to recommend and implement improvements based on facts

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Some limited travel may be required (5%)

    U.S. Base Salary Range:

    $84,000.00 - $132,000.00

    The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.?The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

    U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
