We are hiring a Senior Product Manager for the Targeted Drug Delivery (TDD) upstream marketing team. This is an exciting role that will require strong collaboration with other functions to determine business and customer needs, build the strategic roadmap for the business and develop annual strategic plans, and to lead strategic programs and initiatives with a wide range of internal staff such as Sales, Marketing, RD, Production, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Clinical, Training Education and Management.
TDD is part of the Restorative Therapies Group, Pain Therapies business.
A Day in the Life
You will conduct research and collaborates with clinicians toidentify and prioritize clinical needs, product and technology gaps, and todevelop customer requirements.
Represent voice of the customer in teamdiscussions to guide trade-offs and product feature / design decisions.
Identify and investigate opportunities and partnersfor current and/or new markets, products and procedures.Conduct market, sales and financial analysisto support opportunity assessments.
Conduct strategic competitive landscape assessments to include both current competitorsand future threats.
Generate business plans, market requirements documents, presentations and supportingmaterials to align all functional groups behind a common vision and strategy.Present business cases to leadership team togain portfolio strategy alignment and product cadence.
Lead all new product introduction projects for Phase0-2 (VOX assessment; solution assessment; business assessment) of the ID2MRprocess.
Collaborate with global partners todrive alignment with strategies and business objectives.
Travel domesticallyand internationally in support of customer engagements and internal events -approximately 20%
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in marketing, strategy or product management experience with a Bachelors' degree, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
Nice to Have
Demonstrated knowledge and capabilityin cross-functional team management with the ability to influence and leadothers.
Strong organizational andprioritization skills with ability to manage several, complex projectssimultaneously.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills,including strong verbal, written and presentation skills including the abilityto present complex material in a simple and effective manner appropriate to thelevel of the audience.
Strong leadership in developing comprehensive global businessassessments, strategies, tactics and solutions to drive business objectives.
Upstream product marketing or developmentwith both feasibility and launch experience.Ability tounderstand complex technical product information.
An ability towork with all levels of management including Senior Leadership.
Experience working across geographicalregions.
Strongcomputer skills in spreadsheet, presentation and word processing software(Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
