    We are looking for a new Senior Program Manager for our dynamic and engaged Operational Excellence team, which is part of Global Operations in Service. The Operational Excellence department is responsible for driving strategic business improvement initiatives.

    As a Program Manager it will be your responsibility to manage selected cross-functional program(s) of high importance and strategic priority for Service Operations. The candidate will be expected to establish strong collaboration with stakeholders through positive attitude, cross-functional collaboration and high level of communication. Essential to drive our operational transformation journey in Service!

    How to contribute to our vision

    The interface and collaboration with global functions and regions within Siemens Gamesa and the Service business unit is key to the success of our Operational Excellence team. Within this team it is expected to drive projects through our strong Project Execution Framework and successfully manage allocated internal improvement projects to support the transition to the standard operating model. Our team consists of highly motivated project-, process- and change managers with experience of running improvement projects and all based in different geographical locations within Service.

    Your responsibilities will be:

    • Establish and Manage our Service Cost Competitiveness Program through close partnership with functions in Service and strong focus on Platform Cost Management.

    • Drive selected transformation efforts to ensure optimal focus on Cost Competitiveness through our Service business unit including communications and stakeholder.

    • Functions including Onshore and Offshore business units' management.

    • Lead cross-functional project team(s) within Service and key interfaces to other.

    • Establish and manage applicable Cost Baseline scenarios for our Service offerings and manage the ongoing tracking, monitoring and improvements in alignment with Executive Management expectations and objectives.

    • Develop business case and prioritization for continuous improvement work in the areas of Operations process framework and calculate potential productivity impact.

    • Support the Service management team with respect to concise summary of information and creation of management presentations, workshops and proposals.

    • Ensure strong focus on the implementation of the application solution(s) development in strong partnership with the regions and to ensure value-add for our key operations in Service.

    What you need to make a difference

    Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

    • University degree in management, business engineering, engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or natural science

    • Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant Project Management and/or consulting experience, ideally from the wind or service industry. Experience of project management, operational / cost transformation is an advantage.

    • You are able to manage multiple projects and tasks based on priority.

    • You gained insights in the area of project execution in large scale construction projects business (power plant projects, infrastructure projects etc.) - wind industry / large scale infrastructure project background is an advantage.

    • You are structured and demonstrated strong problem-solving skills (strategic, quantitative and organizational / process assignments) taking a holistic end-to-end perspective.

    • Proven track record in project management, and the ability to communicate and interact with colleagues and collaborators at all levels in a large, complex and global organization.

    • Experience in Lean / Six Sigma methodologies in order to drive continues improvement concepts and problem-solving processes.

    • You have shown ability to implement and bring concepts to live in a fast moving and changing environment. Passion for change management.

    • You are committed to deadlines and show ownership on your assignments.

    • Team player with a can-do attitude, open to feedback from peers and managers and willingness to learn and develop.

    It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
