    About this role

    Carrier is hiring a Senior Project Manager in the Green Bay, WI area. This candidate will manage projects following project processes and, where applicable, provide direction to assisting Project Engineers within the service organization.

    High-Level professional with solid BAS knowledge and highly developed technical expertise in Field Service, who provides full ownership of all assigned projects. Schedules, coordinates the execution of project work profitably and timely. Drives project success via compliance with industry standards, per specifications. Uses effective communications with internal and external resources. Demonstrated commitment to the HVAC, BAS and Construction industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Complete projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time and with a high level of customer satisfaction

    • Responsible for the overall financial performance of assigned projects, including project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections, and re-estimating costs of installation projects.

    • Manage the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders for the expansion of the scope

    • Coordinate project materials and the use of shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any issues

    • Manage relationships with sub-contractors, identifying issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any issues

    Basic Qualifications

    • HS Diploma or GED

    • 2+ years of commercial project management experience

    • 2+ years of experience in building automation, electrical or HVAC industry

    • Must have a valid driver's license

    • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite

    Preferred Qualifications

    Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include

    • Bachelor's Degree

    • Prior experience in Construction, HVAC, and/or Building Automation preferred

    • Ability to lead and motivate teams

    • Strong problem solving, planning, and project management skills

    • PMP certification is preferred or working towards PMP Certification.

    • Experience managing budgets for large construction projects.

    • Experience managing project risk and earned value

    • Ability to read and understand the scope of work

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    • General knowledge of employment laws and practices

    • Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting

    • Maintains effective communications with customers and field team members to better understand support requirements
