    Overview:

    ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. The Senior Project Manager position will manage a multiyear project including planning, scheduling, and control of activities independently. This position will be responsible for leading a project team of greater than ten people to compete complex and multidiscipline regulatory programs.This position is located in Richland, WA.

    Responsibilities:

    • Establishes priorities within the team and maintains a general knowledge of all aspects of the program implementations, for the designate project scope.

    • Directs the activities of project teams

    • Maintains a broad knowledge base of industry trends as related to assigned projects

    • Monitors project management processes and recommends changes to improve effectiveness and efficiency

    • Manages project budgets, interacting closely with the finance organization and the project controls group

    • Coordinates with other project and line managers

    • Mentors other project managers and acts for supervisor/manager when required.

    • Develops contracts and interface with vendors

    • Manages project schedules commensurate with project complexity and size with the goal of being able to manage risk, implement mitigation strategies, accurately track progress, enforce accountability, and manage critical path and float.

    • Prepares written and oral communications to various groups including senior management

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of experience directly related to maintenance processes, human performance, and/or continuous improvement.

    • OR an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years of experience directly related to maintenance processes, human performance, and/or continuous improvement.

    • OR a high school diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of experience.

    • Cost-effective work execution methodologies

    • Experience managing complex projects, implementation of significant process change, on-line work management, and Outage related scope activities.

    • Advanced project management techniques at Commercial Nuclear Power Plants or similar facility.

    • PMP Certification

    • Supervisory Experience

    • Experience with Project management and budget process software

    • Experience utilizing Asset Suite, MS Office, and Visio

    • Ability to evaluate organizational, personnel, technical, and regulatory programs, procedures, schedules, and cost performance

    • Code and regulatory, process and procedure requirements as they relate to program implementation (operations, construction, maintenance, engineering), and project work activities

    • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks on an ongoing basis

    • Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
