    As our Senior Project Manager (Transportation), you will be responsible for the technical design and management of transportation design projects with Florida Department of Transportation and municipal clients. You'll grow professionally with us as we rise together on impactful projects with a high degree of technical complexity) from the concept stage through detailed design and construction services. You'll be leading multidiscipline planning and design teams to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies. Your relationships with our clients and communities in the South will support our growth with key and strategic pursuits of traditional planning and design projects as well as alternative delivery opportunities.

    Here's what you'll need :

    • B.S. or M.S. degree in related engineering or applicable discipline

    • Progressively responsible Project Management experience with transportation projects and consulting

    • Strong understanding of project delivery tools and metrics, and a proven history leading project delivery teams to successfully meet client expectations

    • Attributes that include excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem solving, and a strong organizational approach

    • Florida Professional Engineer PE license and ability to serve as Engineer of Record

    • Previous experience with design of roadway/highway facilities and management of similar projects

    • Must be able to demonstrate leadership abilities and possess written and oral communication skills is required

    • Must be able to lead a design team developing construction plans for roadway/highway facilities

    • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local design guidelines including the FDOT Florida Design Manual (FDM) and Standard Plans

    Ideally, you'll also have:

    • Relationships with clients and/or teaming partners in the West Central Florida area including, FDOT District's One and/or Seven and local municipalities

    • Limited access, toll road, and interchange design experience

    • Experience designing or managing design build projects
