SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

110K-125K+BONUS+PROFIT SHARING

Portfolio management company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their established team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing finance and account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, prepare financial statements, and ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for various Funds

-Prepare consolidated financial statements

-Review property financial statements from third party property management companies

-Prepare monthly reports for properties and loans

-Book journal entries and ensure all transactions are recorded.

-Review Staff Accountant's work on certain reports and provide guidance when needed.

-Preparation of annual audits

Requirements

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or similar concentration

-Fund Accounting or real estate investment accounting experience

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel

-Experience with Yardi highly preferred
