  • Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Tillamook, Oregon. This role primarily revolves around account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. The successful candidate will also be expected to work with general ledger and journal entries, along with utilizing Microsoft Excel for month-end close processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Execute account reconciliation processes in a timely and accurate manner

    • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation, ensuring all financial data is accurate

    • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity and stability

    • Handle general ledger tasks to facilitate accurate financial reporting

    • Prepare and post journal entries to keep financial records updated

    • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting

    • Manage month-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date

    • Collaborate with other team members to achieve overall organizational financial goals

    • Ensure all accounting tasks are performed in compliance with the organization's policies and regulations

    • Provide assistance in other accounting tasks as needed, ensuring smooth financial operations. Requirements

    • Must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

    • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.

    • Strong knowledge of Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

    • Proficiency in General Ledger management and Journal Entries maintenance.

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

    • Experience with Month End Close procedures.

    • Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Demonstrate integrity, ethical standards, and compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.

    • Ability to adapt to new tools and software.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
